About CETA

The Canada Exhibition & Trade Association (CETA) is a Canadian non-profit trade promotion organization incorporated under the federal laws of Canada, with its head office in Toronto.

CETA supports Canadian companies seeking to build commercial relationships and expand into Asian markets, with a particular focus on China. The organization works with Canadian enterprises to identify market opportunities, establish trusted partnerships, and navigate the operational and regulatory considerations involved in cross-border trade.

Through trade missions, international exhibitions, and targeted business delegations, CETA creates structured opportunities for Canadian companies to engage directly with Chinese partners and market channels. These initiatives support practical market entry, distributor development, and long-term commercial collaboration.

Beyond exhibitions, CETA assists companies with market entry strategy, distributor and partner identification, supply chain sourcing, and guidance on regulatory and government engagement relevant to cross-border trade. CETA works with leading trade institutions, exhibition organizers, and industry associations across Canada and China to support sustainable business development.

While CETA currently works most actively with companies in agriculture, food and agricultural products, and consumer goods sectors, the association operates as a multi-industry trade platform supporting Canadian enterprises pursuing international growth.

Our objective is to help Canadian companies convert international interest into structured commercial partnerships.
